- Booking Button – Persistent element at the bottom of carousel on each page encourages booking
- Search – Ensure users find what they want
- Navigation – Focus on guest experience, what users want and what we want to promote. Timely and most popular information easiest to access. Combined pages where possible, tabbed information.
- Blue “Current” Box – persistent element in the header on each page with most popular and important content : Temperature/Weather, Mountain Cam, Blog, Slope Report (seasonal), This Week at Wintergreen
- Promo Boxes – Rotate, updated look from old site

- Blog – Once a winter-only external blog, the new blog is year-round and internal which keeps users on our site, and is accessed through a feed on the Home Page or through a link in the Blue “Current” Box in the header. This provides more marketing space, social content, encourages repeat traffic and loyalty, and is dynamite for SEO.
- Mountain Cams – used to have one cam embedded in weatherbug page, now have three embedded on one of our pages. The two new cams move to golf for Spring, Summer, Fall.
- Video – Showcase this rich media content since it is most desirable by users, can be reused on social media and throughout site, and helps SEO
- Social – sort of a teaser to encourage people to like us on Facebook and see how active and interesting we are without ever leaving the site.
